What is Takaful?
Takaful insurance is an Islamic‑compliant insurance scheme that is similar to conventional insurance for protecting policyholders from the financial impact of loss or damage, but it differs in how revenues are treated—as contributions collected into a shared fund to compensate contributors, with any surplus returned to policyholders after required deductions.
